The main government hospital, Indhira Gandhi Memorial (IGMH) has set up a drop box to make it easier for patients on long-term medication to renew their prescriptions.

Patients, even those on long-term medication, previously had to make an appointment with their doctors to renew their prescription, making the process long and hard.

IGMH announced Saturday that it has set up a drop box at the hospital’s information counter, to make it easier for patients on long-term medication to renew their prescription.

Drop box will be located at information counter every day from 09:00 am to 03:00 pm, except for Fridays and public holidays.

Patients who put their prescription in the drop box will be contacted the following working day to collect their renewed prescription, between 10:00 am and 02:00 pm.
