President Solih departs to Singapore on unofficial visit

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih departed for Singapore on Wednesday for an unofficial visit. 

His departure was announced in an official statement released by the President's Office. 

However, apart from announcing his departure, no further details pertaining to the visit were revealed.  

The president had undertaken various trips both with the country and internationally in an unofficial capacity. 

This includes earlier visits to Singapore, once in February, where he underwent thyroid surgery, and another with First Lady Fazna Ahmed during mid-April.
