HDC organizing lecture by Mufti Menk in Hulhumale’

Housing Development Corporation Ltd (HDC) initiaties MoU with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to arrange a religious lecture by world-renowned scholar Mufti Dr Ismail Menk.

Managing Director of HDC Ahmed Athif and Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Ahmed Zahir signed the MoU on behalf of the respective parties.

According to HDC, the lecture will be held at Hulhumale’s synthetic track.

Mufti Menk is visiting Maldives from October 28 to 31.

HDC revealed that the lecture is scheduled for October 31 but did not specify a time yet.

In addition to Hulhumale’ Menk is scheduled to give lectures in Male’, Addu City, and Fuvahmulah City.

He had visited Maldives previously and given religious lectures.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Mufti Menk is a global Islamic scholar.

He studies Shariah in Madinah and holds a Doctorate of Social Guidance from Aldersgate.

Mufti travels the world spreading a simple but profound message: “Do good, help others while preparing for the Hereafter”.
