One office with all postal services opening in Hulhumale’ phase II

Managing Director of Maldives Post Limited Adam Mohamed on Sunday stated that by the end of 2022, a post office that offers all postal services will be opened in Hulhumale’ Phase II.

He made the remarks at the ceremony held to open a new ‘Pik Post’ station in Amin Avenue, Hulhumlae’.

Speaking with Sun after the ceremony, Adam said that opening the office in phase 11 was part of the project to ensure postal services are easily accessible to all residential areas.

He added that in the future, numerous similar services will be introduced.

“God willing, before the end of this year, we will open post office and office with pik post and other postal services, in Hulhumale’ phase II.”

Furthermore, Adam noted that the number of people using postal services in Maldives is on the raise. He added that they were doing much to ensure the services are provided to the people using the latest technologies.

The first post office in Maldives was opened on September 9, 1906.
