Local telecom operator, Ooredoo Maldives’ e-commerce platform, Moolee, is marking three successful connecting businesses and customers – in enabling a nationwide online shopping experience.

Moolee was officially launched in August 2019.

Since its launch, the platform has belted over 20,000 deliveries across the Maldives. These deliveries include a vast variety of quality products in over 18 categories including consumer electronics, gaming products, books and stationaries, home, kitchen and lifestyle products from over 50 reputable businesses.

In celebration of the significant milestone and to thank its shoppers – Moolee has announced fun and interactive online engagement activities with exciting gifts throughout the month of August.

Ooredoo said that more details regarding the anniversary activities will be announced on Moole’s social media pages.

The telecom operator said that in line with Moole’s mission to engage with its customers on a more personal level – the platform has shown exemplary response during the unprecedented times of Covid-19 pandemic, in connecting businesses to customers across the nation enabling customers to shop their essentials from the safety of their homes

In this regard, Moolee onboarded small vendors like corner shops and supermarkets to ensure availability of essential goods. Ooredoo stressed that the swift adaption not only helped their customers, but also enabled small businesses to reach a vast customer base online and continue business operations during the lockdown.

Apart from this, Moolee also ran promotions with special discounts celebrating Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and year-end sales enabling its shoppers to exchange gifts with their loved ones afar during these special occasions.

Moolee also partnered with Novelty Bookshop and launched its’ ‘Back to School’ offer enabling parents across the nation to easily claim the booklist online without having to queue in a crowd and have the items delivered to their doorstep across the nation. 

The e-commence platform ensures its consumers a seamless digital shopping experience with its services like online payments, free nationwide delivery, easy returns and genuine product availability for buyers to shop with confidence.
