MTCC: 88 percent of S. Hulhudhoo harbor project complete

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) revealed that work on the design and build of the S.Hulhudhoo Harbour Development Project has been completed by 88 percent.

This project involves the reclamation of an 88,623 cubic meters area, construction of a 114-meter breakwater, 624-meter revetment and 742-meter quay wall.

MTCC noted that work on the 2,250sqm Habor pavement and streetlight and navigation aid installation has now been completed.

Additionally, they revealed that the first shipment of rock boulders have been delivered to the project site.

The project worth MVR 61.4 million is contracted to be completed within 375 days. It was awarded to MTCC in March 2020 through bidding.
