Two-day special training program kicks off for Hithadhoo Port staff

A two-day special training program has kicked off for Addu City’s Hithadhoo Port staff.

The training program titled ‘Leadership and Change Management Program’ is being carried out at Hithadhoo Port’s main headquarters for the purpose of motivating staff, increasing productivity and enhancing staff’s confidence level.

Apart from this, sessions held under program will also focus on addressing challenges faced within the work environment. Participants will also be briefed on different vehicles used in the company’s operations and ‘port terms’.

The program organized by Maldives Port Limited’s (MPL) Port Learning and Development (PTC) has also been conducted for managers based at Male’ Commercial Harbor and Hulhumale’ International Terminal. However, the program was conducted for all staff at Hithadhoo Port which is overseen by MPL. In this regard, 40 staff working in different MPL institutes took part in the program.

Lecturer conducting the program at Hithadhoo Port is Adam Naseer – who is a certified John Maxwell coach and a NLP master practitioner.  Naseer has over 20 years of experience in human resource. He has also worked in employ development sector.
