Applications opened to enroll in first grade at public schools in Male’ area

Education Ministry has opened applications to enroll in first grade at public schools in Male’ area – with age-lowered eligibility criteria.

Children who are seven years old by December 31 were only eligible to enroll in first grade at public schools in Male’ City during the last academic year.

In contrary to this, Education Ministry has opened applications to enroll in first grade for this upcoming academic new year, with children turning six years old by July 31 being deemed eligible.

An announcement by the Ministry detailed that applications to enroll in first grade at public schools in Male’ area will be open until June 30. Meanwhile, applications to enroll to other grades at public schools in Male’ area will be open until July 1.
