O’ Level examination for the year commences with 5,939 students

On Wednesday, O’ Level examination for the year has commenced with a total of 5,939 students in participation.

The examination taking place starting from today, until June 10, has 239 local centers taking part in addition to the Maldives Cultural Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka and Maldives Centre in Malaysia.

O’ level examination for the subject Art and Design has already been held this year. A total of 181 students sat for the exam which took place on April 13 and April 14.  

This marks the first O’ level examination being held since Maldives lifted the state on national public health emergency declared in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and scrapped many of the restrictions imposed to control the pandemic including the mask mandate
