Vice President meets Dubai International Quran Competition finalist Al-Hafiz Nabeeh

Vice President Faisal Naseem has met with and congratulated Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh Abdul Gadir, a finalist in the Dubai International Quran Competition 2022.

Nabeeh represented Maldives in the competition held in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The meeting between the Vice President and Nabeeh took place at the President’s Office on Monday morning.

At the meeting, the Vice President described Nabeeh as an inspiration to all young children and urged him to continue in his efforts to study and recite the Holy Quran.

He provided assurance of the Maldivian administration’s commitment to continue its work to provide similar opportunities for young hafizes, and highlighted on the need to instill love and interest in the hearts of the young for the Holy Quran.

The meeting was also attended by Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir and Nabeeh’s parents, Aminath Mohamed and Abdul Qadir Qasim.

 The parents shared with the Vice President their son's experience in the competition.

The Dubai International Quran Competition took place from 1st to 14th of Ramadan. Three hafizes represented Maldives in the competition.
