President Solih inaugurates ‘Judicial Year 2022’

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Thursday night, has inaugurated ‘Judicial Year 2022’.

The inauguration of ‘Judicial Year 2022’ took place during a special ceremony held at Islamic Centre in Male’ City.

President’s Office detailed that one of the most important objectives of the inauguration ceremony of the Judicial Year is to set new goals for the upcoming year, as well as to reflect on the achievements of the judiciary over the past year.

In line with this, a video regarding the judiciary's activities in 2021 and the targets set for the year 2022 was shown at last night’s ceremony.

During the ceremony, Parliament Speaker, former President Mohamed Nasheed also launched three software applications developed to automate the judicial processes. Meanwhile, Judicial Services Commission’s (JSC) President Uza. Hisaan Hussain launched the new website for the Department of Judicial Administration (DJA).

Chief Justice Uz. Ahmed Muthasim Adnan delivered the State of Judiciary address at the ceremony as well.
