An agreement has been executed between Sh. Funadhoo’s Abdulla Abdul Kareem (AAK) Preschool and Kokkomen Preschool for the purpose of training teachers.

The agreement was signed by Kokkomen Preschool’s Principal Sobira Ahmed and Funadhoo Council’s Secretary-General Azma Ahmed.

Funadhoo Council President Ahmed Ibrahim Fulhu told Sun that training programs will be conducted for teachers at AAK Preschool as part of this agreement.

Apart from this, teaching material, syllabus and other particulars will be shared between the two schools as part of this agreement.

Kokkomen Preschool detailed that training programs will be carried out on a national level and an international level under this agreement. They also noted that exchange programs would be held between the staff of both schools and that teaching internship opportunities will also be created.

AAK Preschool is operated under the supervision of Funadhoo’s Women’s Development Committee. The school was inaugurated last year.

Kokkomen Preschool is owned by famous local religious scholar, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed. He had purchased the school last year.
