BML opens self-service banking ATM center in Maamendhoo

Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened a new self-service banking ATM center in Maamendhoo, as it continues to scale up its presence in the L. Atoll.

BML said that in addition to cash withdrawal facilities, the new center will support individuals and businesses to deposit and transfer money on a 24/7 basis.

The national bank has already opened a branch and self-service banking in L. Fonadhoo and L. Gan, and a self-service banking ATM center in L. Maavah.

BML’s CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer said the bank would continue to invest in expansion of banking services across Maldives.

 “As part of our financial inclusion strategy, we will continue to invest in expanding banking services to islands across Maldives. This center in Maamendhoo will benefit individuals and businesses in the community and ensure convenient and accessible banking services without the need to travel to a nearby branch,” he said.

BML has a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 78 self-service banking centers, 136 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of digital banking services.

BML has stated it was committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
