HDC announces sale of 60 land plots in Hulhumale’ Phase 2

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the sale of 60 land plots in Hulhumale’ Phase 2.

In an announcement made on Monday, HDC said that prospective buyers can register for bid between January 2 to January 30.

HDC said that the 60 land plots presently announced are those allocated under the Hulhumale’ Phase 2 masterplan to be sold. They detailed that the 60 land plots will include 26 plots on the beach front and 34 plots on the beach side.

HDC said that priority will be given to first time buyers. Moreover, priority will also be given to buyers who do not have a residential land plot measuring more than 600 squarefoot in the Male’ area registered to their name.

Interested buyers can request the bid form by emailing at [email protected]. Each bid form will be sold for a price of MVR 500.

HDC said that there will be two different forms for beach front land plots and beach side land plots.

Bid forms for beach front land plots are to be submitted on February 9. Meanwhile, bid forms for beach side land plots are to be submitted on February 16.

HDC said that a bid security of MVR 320,000 will be collected from bidders to both types of land plots.
