Two on a motorcycle attacked and wounded in second violent altercation at Addu City today

A second violent altercation has taken place in Addu City today.

A media official from Maldives Police Service had told Sun that two who were riding a motorcycle were attacked and wounded in a violent altercation that took place earlier tonight.

The victims have been identified as a 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman.

The media official further noted that both victims were currently being treated at Addu Equatorial Hospital.

Noting that the police were investigating the case further – the media official said that the altercation was reported to them around 20:05 this evening.

A violent altercation at Addu City had occurred earlier this morning – in which a 29-year-old man was attacked and wounded with a sharp object.
