MNDF assists safari boat taking in water off Dhangethi

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has provided assistance to a safari boat travelling with tourists which was taking in water off ADh. Dhangethi.

The incident in question was reported to the authorities at approximately 09:19 pm last Wednesday.

MNDF identified the boat in question as Honors Legacy, which was travelling with 31 people; 10 crew members and 21 tourists.

The boat was 6.7 nautical miles to the south east of Dhangethi.

The boat was assisted by the MNDF Male’ Area Coastguard Squadron, and taken to ADh. Dhigurah at 02:10 am this Thursday.
