Tree Top Hospital has announced the inauguration of a Rehabilitative Centre – which will see the introduction of four new services.
As per the hospital, the new services which will be rendered through the Rehabilitative Centre are: physiotherapy, speech, and language therapy, audiology, and occupational therapy.
Tree Top Hospital attributed the introduction of these new services through a Rehabilitative Centre in order to work even more closely with the patients and to improve their standard of care.
Physiotherapy sessions provided by Tree Top Hospital are 45-minutes to 60-minutes long. Physiotherapists from the hospital are highly experienced and will utilize modern technology in treating their patients. Moreover, pediatric rehabilitative services will also be provided in this Centre.
The hospital also has a special rehab program for patients recovering from COVID-19 – that will guide them through to full recovery.
Speech and language therapy will be provided for patients of all ages – which will include diagnostic speech and language evaluation and diagnostic swallowing evaluations followed by therapy and treatment for such conditions.
Audiology services provided at the Centre will include diagnostic audiological evaluation, hearing aid screening, and electrophysiological testing – also for people of all ages, including newborns. Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA) tests are also provided as part of Audiology services.
Occupational therapy will be catered to autistic persons and people suffering from physical disability/impairment, developmental delay, poor socialization, or emotional problems - in order to help them lead independent and productive lives.
