The Ministry of Education has opened for students to withdraw their applications and postpone taking part in the Edexcel A Level examinations scheduled for April.

The students retracting their applications will be allowed to take part in the examinations scheduled for October/November on behalf of their schools, stated the Education Ministry. The Ministry added that the April examinations would be taken into account when ranking students for the Top 10 and for Presidential scholarship.

The Ministry said that students can only withdraw applications for IA Level examinations and that the HSC examinations would go on according to schedule.

Students wishing to withdraw applications are to inform the Department of Public Examinations through their schools before 12:00, March 30.

Edexcel scheduled the examinations to be held on April 26.
