Police officer's motorcycle lit on fire in Thinadhoo

A motorcycle of a police officer working in G. Dh. Thinadhoo has been lit on fire. 

Police said that reports of the incident were received on August 15, 2020, at around 8:55.

The motorcycle was lit on fire after it was taken to the northern coast of the island. It was initially parked near the residence of the policeman. 

Police said that the motorcycle was damaged so badly that it could not be used. A 26-year old local male was arrested yesterday under a court order yesterday in connection with the incident. 

Another two, aged 18 and 22 were also arrested today under court orders in connection with the incident. 

Police are now investigating the matter.
