PCR test charge for travelers starts at MVR 1,500

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has released a list of laboratories in Maldives which offer PCR testing services for outbound travelers, along with their prices.

The service is available from Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), ADK Hospital and Tree Top Hospital located in the greater Male’ region, and Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital in the north, and Addu Equatorial Hospital in the south.

PRICE:

  • ADK Hospital: MVR 1,500
  • IGMH: MVR 1,534
  • Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital: MVR 1,534
  • Addu Equatorial Hospital: MVR 1,534
  • Tree Top Hospital: MVR 2,000

Travelers need to present a copy of their travel itinerary and other documents requested by the laboratories.

HPA has stressed that samples much reach laboratories 48 hours prior to departure time in order to ensure results are available on time.
