Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) will be showcasing the very best the Maldives has to offer as it goes on a virtual tour of the country named as “Maldives, the sun will shine again”.
Tourism is the main economic activity of the country, which has been left stagnated due to the COVID-19 pandemic raging around the world.
However, the Maldives is working to recover after more than a month since borders were closed off. The country, with this virtual campaign, is working to convey to the world that it is back on the road and moving towards recovering. The three-hour live feed on Facebook will involve well-wishers from across the globe, as well as celebrities, key opinion leaders, influencers, artists, and fans of the country. The event will also be joined by local musicians, iconic personalities to allow the audience to live the dream of visiting the Maldives from the comfort of their homes.
