Migrant dies after being found collapsed on Male' City road

A migrant who was found collapsed on a street of Male’ City has died after being taken to the Senahiya Hospital.

MNDF’s Information Officer, Major General Ibrahim Azim said that doctors had pronounced the individual dead when brought to the hospital.

Maj. Azim also said that information was received that the individual had been suffering from chest pains before being found collapsed on the road.

Police spokesperson Izmia Zahir stated that patrolling officers found the individual on the road near Odion in Maafannu around 8:31.

Izmia clarified that the collapsed individual was a 50-year old male from Bangladesh.
