Al-Habshi Engineering contracted to survey 6 islands for road development

Al-Habshi Engineering Consultants Office have been contracted by the Planning and Infrastructure Ministry to conduct survey, design, and Environmental Impact Assessments necessary for planned road development projects in six local islands.

The MVR 3.17 million contract was exchanged between Abdul Razzaq Idhrees, Country Manager, Al-Habshi Engineering Consultants Office and Shana Farooq, Director-General, Planning and Infrastructure Ministry this Tuesday.

The six islands the project will cover are H. A. Kelaa, R. Alifushi, R. Hulhudhuffaaru, M. Muli, L. Gan, and Th. Guraidhoo.

Al Habshi Engineering Constantans Office has been contracted to complete the survey, design and EIA within 120 days.

The State has allocated MVR 1.5 billion for road development projects in 2020.
