An eye witness at the scene last night stated to “Sun” that the attackers arrived on motorcycles and the rock was thrown by the people on the leading motorcycle. The witness also stated that the first attempt to smash the windows with a rock failed.

“The first attempt by two people on an Aerox motorcycle failed to smash the window. So, they leaped upon the chairs placed outside the café’ and attempted again. The man (attacker) was covering his face. Three other motorcycles were waiting behind the leading motorcycle.” said the witness.

The rock thrown by the vandal nearly hit a man inside the coffee shop, which is a popular spot among some youths. The vandals then stuck a pink-colored note with the above message before leaving the scene.

The incident comes on the heels of a heated social media debate regarding a local young woman who has been criticized by some people for dressing as a man. The criticism also prompted a response from people supporting her on social media.
