Air balloon explosion in Thilafushi leaves two injured

An air balloon used in the Thilafushi shipyard has exploded and left two people injured.

Police media officials informed that the incident was reported around 5:21 today and the two men injured were of Bangladeshi nationality.

Work to transport the two men to Male’ city for medical care was underway and the incident is under investigation by Police.
