The Parliament has passed to appoint members to the three administrative posts of the Parliament according to the new regulations of the Parliament.
Article 16 of the new regulations formed by the Parliament states that appointments must be made to the administrative posts of the Parliament before the end of the second Parliamentary session.
The three posts of the Parliament are Secretary-General, Seargent at Arms and Counsel General. The posts were filled by Fathimath Niusha as Secretary-General, Fathimath Filza as Counsel General and Mohamed Haleem as the Seargent at Arms of the Parliament. The Parliamentary session held today saw the three once again appointed to the posts unanimously by MPs.
