Pakistan donates MVR 1.3M worth of resources to Iskandhar School

The Pakistani Embassy in Maldives has donated MVR 1.3 million worth of resources to Iskandhar School.

The donation was presented by Pakistani Ambassador Waseem Akram to the Iskandhar School Principal Hussain Saeed in a ceremony held at the school this Wednesday.

Saeed reports the donation was proposed by the Pakistani three months ago.

The donations include 66 55-inch digital TV wall which is to be installed at the school’s hall, and eight 58-inch TVs which will be used at classrooms.

ADDITIONAL DONATIONS:

  • A USD 100,000 modern sound system
  • 150 executive chairs worth MVR 75,000
  • A MVR 50,000 carpet
  • A USD 3,500 computer system

Saeed notes the digital TV wall donated by the Pakistani Embassy will make Iskandhar School the first school in Maldives to use a digital wall.
