Ibrahim Zahid appointed Senior Executive at Gender Ministry

Ibrahim Zahid from Hawaii, B. Thulhaadhoo has been appointed the Senior Executive at Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services.

Zahid was appointed to the position by the President’s Office last Monday.

Zahid has previously serviced as Vice President of B. Thulhaadhoo Council.

The political position of Senior Executive is of the same nature as that of Senior Coordinator during former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s administration.

Executive Directors have also been appointed to government ministries. The specific number of people appointed to the position is unclear at this point.
