PO issues advisory over fake Facebook accounts in President’s name

President’s Office has issued advisory over the creation of multiple Facebook accounts bearing the name of Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

President’s Spokesperson and Chief Communications Strategist at the President’s Office, Ibrahim Hood reports the President has only one Facebook account.

He said that all other accounts bearing the President’s name and its content, were neither associated with nor endorsed by the President.
