Laamu preschool broken into; unknown amount of cash taken

The Laamu Preschool, located in the Thundi district of L. Gan, was broken into a robbery in the predawn hours of this Thursday.

Maldives Police Service says the robbery was reported to the agency at 6:45 am this Thursday. And confirms cash kept at the preschool was taken in the robbery.

The exact amount of cash stolen in the robbery is unknown at this point.

The case is under investigation by the MPS, but no arrests have been yet.
