Qasim: Attempts are being made to topple President Solih’s government within MDP

Leader of the Jumhoory Party (JP), a member of the government coalition, Qasim Ibrahim has said that attempts are being made within MDP to take a no confidence vote against the President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih,  and topple the government.

Speaking at a ceremony to accept new members ot JP, Qasim said that the President’s Solih’s government is less than two months old but MDP is aiming to depose the President through the parliament though a no-confidence motion.

 

Qasim said that they are not children not to know what MDP is doing and they would be standing behind President Solih would be in power as long as he wants.
