Two injured in Ring Road collision

Two people have been injured following a traffic collision on the Male’ City Ring Road.

Maldives Police Service said that the collision took place around 9:27 tonight near Senahiya Hospital. They are now being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The collision took place when two motorcycles attempted to turn on the Burzu Magu from the Ring Road.

Police said that a 40-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man was injured in the collision, both on the same motorcycle. The driver of the other motorcycle did not sustain any injuries.  

They initially treated at Senahiya Hospital before being transferred before being transferred to IGMH.
