President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has returned to Maldives upon conclusion of his official visit to United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Solih returned to Maldives this Thursday morning.
He made the visit at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces of the UAE.
During the visit, President Solih attended the Zayed Sustainability Awards Ceremony and Inaugurated the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, on January 14.
He also had meetings with both the Crown Prince, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of UAE, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss strengthening and diversifying existing relations, especially in tourism, construction, renewable energy and transportation.
The two governments also signed a MoU on establishing a joint cooperation committee.
