President appoints new Controller General of Immigration

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed a new Controller General of Immigration.

The new Controller General of Immigration, Mohamed Ahmed Hussain (Hanafee) was presented with his letter of appointment by President Solih at the President’s Office this Sunday.

Mohamed Ahmed Hussain is a council member of Jumhoory Party (JP).

The appointment comes mere hours after former Controller General of Immigration, Ahmed Anwar resigned from his post earlier this Sunday.
