Manadhoo MP Umar joins JP

Manadhoo MP Umar Hussain has joined Jumhoory Party (JP).

Parliamentary group leader of JP, Abdulla Riyaz announced the decision in a tweet this Wednesday.

Umar won the Manadhoo parliamentary seat as a candidate of Maldives Development Alliance (MDA).

A large number of parliamentarians have defected to JP ahead of the parliamentary elections.
