Man missing in Hankede found dead

The young 18-year-old man who went missing after going swimming at Hankede in Addu City has been found dead.

Information Officer of MNDF, Ibrahim Azim, said that an 18-year-old male was reported missing around 2:43 p.m. today at the Hankede intersection between Hithadhoo and Maradhoo in Addu City.

The body was discovered by a diver searching for him under the water at the location.

Media Official of the Maldives Police Service said that the missing man was found dead around 3:45 p.m. and was motionless when he was brought to the surface. Police has confirmed the death to Sun Media.
