Driver loses control, motorcycle breaks into shop

A driver has lost control of a motorcycle and has broken through the glass of a shop in Male' City. 

The motorcycle hit the window of the Red Wave shop at the Galolhu Stadium on Majeedhee Magu and the vehicle went inside the shop. 

Media Official of the Maldives Police Service said that the incident was reported around 11:45 a.m. this morning and at the time of the incident, the vehicle was being driven by a woman who did not have a driving license. 

The incident took place after she accidentally accelerated and lost control during an attempt to park the vehicle.

The woman was taken to ADK Hospital for treatment to her injuries but the extent of her injuries are unclear at this time. However, witnesses at the scene said that there was blood on the motorcycle.
