MIB to reward 3 children with consistent saving habits with iPads under new primo

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched a special promotion: ‘Growing with Bingaa – Bingaa Champs’.

According to the bank, the promotion coincides with the second anniversary of its Bingaa service, which was launched in November 2024. The initiative aims to recognise children who develop healthy financial habits and maintain regular savings from an early age.

Under the promotion, MIB will select three children who demonstrate consistent saving habits and financial literacy to receive an iPad and a special certificate of recognition.

Parents can nominate their children through MIB’s digital media channels or by scanning QR codes available at the bank’s outlets. The bank stated that participation is exclusively open to existing Bingaa account holders.

MIB also specified that each child may only be nominated once. Nominations will be accepted from today until November 5, 2026.

The Bingaa account was introduced by MIB to promote financial literacy among children. It allows parents to open and supervise three types of accounts for their children: Bingaa TRX, Bingaa Save and Bingaa Invest.

The bank reaffirmed its commitment to advancing digital banking innovations that deliver benefits and value to the public.
