Today marks the first anniversary of ‘Dhivehi Vathanee Khidhumaiy’ (National Service Program), an initiative launched by this administration to pave new pathways for a brighter future for Maldivian youth.
Commemorating this milestone, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu shared a post expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah and extending congratulations to the graduates of this service and their families. The President also expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the Program’s successful implementation.

In his post, the President noted that the objective of training 1,000 youth annually under this program has been achieved. Specifically, he highlighted that during the inaugural year of the Maldivian National Service, 1,028 Maldivian youths were trained through the National Service Initial Training, while 136 youths completed the National Service Skill Training Program.
The President expressed confidence that, by the grace of Almighty Allah, the Program would achieve further success.
He detailed that it would be strengthened through the introduction of additional technical components, including the National Service Internship Programme. He further highlighted the Government’s efforts to expand the Programme and generate greater employment opportunities for young people through the expansion of the National Career Service.
