MIB to open three branches on Saturday for account activating service

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has announced that three of its branches will remain open on Saturday to provide services to customers.

According to a notice issued by the bank, the branches will operate specifically to assist customers with account activation and onboarding services.

The notice stated that the services will be available from 10:00am to 14:00pm on Saturday, with arrangements made in three locations in Malé and Hulhumalé to provide customers with the required assistance during these hours.

The designated service locations are the MIB Head Office on Medhuziyaarai Magu and the MIB Retail Banking Branch located opposite Artificial Beach. The bank also confirmed that its Hulhumalé Branch will remain open to serve customers during the designated hours.

MIB stated that the decision to open the branches on a holiday was made primarily to ensure customers can complete their account opening and activation procedures conveniently and without disruption.
