Bangladeshi man found dead in Thinadhoo industrial area

A deceased individual has been discovered at a migrant workers' accommodation in the industrial area of Thinadhoo City.

Maldives Police Service said the death was reported to the authority at approximately 4:11am on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as a 27-year-old Bangladeshi national.

According to the Police, the individual was immediately transported to Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital where hospital officials determined that the individual had already been dead on arrival.

The Police have not yet disclosed whether there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

The case is under investigation.
