Ooredoo Maldives has launched AirFibre ChildSafe and other exciting offers to celebrate its 21st anniversary.
Ooredoo Maldives is set to mark its 21st anniversary on Saturday, marking more than two decades of transforming the way Maldivians connect, communicate, work, and live.
Since becoming the country's first private telecommunications provider in 2005, Ooredoo has continuously strived to push the boundaries of innovation, introducing technologies and digital services that have helped shape the Maldives into a connected digital nation.
From launching the country's first 3G, 4G and 5G networks to investing in world-class submarine cable systems, digital financial services, AI-powered customer experiences, and global digital partnerships, Ooredoo has remained at the forefront of the nation's digital transformation.
Today, Ooredoo's role extends far beyond connectivity.
Through its vision of Digital Maldives, the company continues to empower individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs, and communities with technologies that create new opportunities, strengthen the economy, and improve everyday life.
"As we celebrate 21 years in the Maldives, we celebrate the trust our customers have placed in us and the incredible journey we have shared together. Every milestone we have achieved has been made possible by the people of the Maldives, our partners, and our dedicated employees,” said Shadi Qawasmi, CEO and Managing Director of Ooredoo Maldives.
“While we are proud of what we have accomplished together, our focus remains firmly on the future as we continue building a smarter, safer, and more inclusive Digital Maldives powered by innovation.”
To commemorate this milestone, Ooredoo Maldives is introducing a series of innovative products and exclusive anniversary offers throughout August.
