Speaking with Sun, PNC’s Secretary General Moosa Fathuhy said the party has committed to covering the cost of repairing the damage recorded by the school. He added that discussions have already been held and an agreement reached to carry out the necessary repairs.
"We have taken responsibility and are in communication with that party. We have agreed to repair the damages, and they have already prepared a report detailing the necessary work," Fathuhy said.
The disturbance is understood to have resulted in a shattered glass panel on one of the school's doors and damage to two buttons on the sound system mixer.
Some PNC members have alleged that the unrest was instigated by a group allegedly sent by one of the party's lawmakers.
