STELCO announces one-hour power interruption in parts of Hulhumale' on Friday morning

Power outages are expected in parts of Hulhumale' on Friday morning, service provider STELCO said Thursday.

In an announcement, STELCO said its distribution network will be interrupted due to urgent upgrading work. Power outages may occur between 6:00 am and 7:00 am in areas of Hulhumale' Phase 1, specifically Neighborhood 1 and Neighborhood 2.

It is worth noting that power outages have increased in recent years in Male' and Hulhumale', including full blackouts and prolonged outages in towers in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
