In conjunction with the FIFA World Cup 2026, currently being co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico across North America, the Youth Ministry has launched a ‘Gaming Carnival’ at the Youth Hub of the Social Centre.

The carnival is a key component of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Watch Series.

It will be held at the Youth Hub every Friday from 16:00 to 18:00 and will continue throughout the duration of the World Cup tournament.

Members of the public are invited to take part in a wide variety of sporting activities free of charge. The carnival will also feature appearances by several prominent football players.

According to the Ministry, the Youth Hub, which can accommodate up to 250 people, has been designated as a venue for the watch parties, providing a safe and family-friendly setting that is open to the public at no cost.

In addition to live match screenings, the hub will host stalls offering complimentary refreshments and snacks, as well as a range of recreational activities.

Participants will also have the chance to win valuable prizes through lucky draws, including official tournament footballs and one-month complimentary gym memberships at 'Youth by Gymnasia.'

According to Youth Ministry, the initiative aims to promote national unity through sports while fostering a positive and wholesome environment for young people and the wider community.
