Ooredoo Maldives has announced special International Direct Dialing (IDD) rates for customers calling Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season, aimed at helping families and loved ones remain connected throughout the pilgrimage period.
Under the new offers, customers can choose from dedicated IDD packages providing up to 150 minutes of calls to Saudi Arabia, with each package valid for four weeks. The packages are intended to provide greater convenience and affordability for customers wishing to stay in contact with friends and family performing Hajj.
The available packages include:
• 30 minutes for MVR 100
• 75 minutes for MVR 250
• 150 minutes for MVR 500
All packages are valid for four weeks and can be activated through the Ooredoo App.
Commenting on the launch, Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, Hussain Niyaz, said the move is aimed at making communication with loved ones more accessible and affordable.
“Hajj is a deeply meaningful time for many families in the Maldives, and staying connected with loved ones during this journey matters greatly. Through these special IDD offers, we aim to make communication more accessible and affordable, helping customers share prayers, moments, and memories with those who matter most," he said.
