SME Digital has launched a new brand campaign titled “SME360” to raise awareness about its financing solutions and strengthen engagement with small and medium‑sized enterprises across the Maldives.
The campaign was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Addu Business Dialogue forum in Addu City by Minister of Economic Development, Transport and Trade Mohamed Saeed, according to SME Digital’s press statement. The company describes SME360 as an initiative designed to highlight its role in supporting and advancing Maldivian SMEs.
“SME360 campaign is designed to raise awareness about the financing solutions offered by SME Digital and the institution's role in supporting and advancing Maldivian SMEs,” the statement reads.
SME Digital said the campaign aims to strengthen its relationship with small businesses and the wider community while contributing to SME growth within the national economy. As part of the initiative, the company will conduct public engagement activities across various atolls, including specialized workshops offering practical guidance and business information to entrepreneurs.
“These workshops are intended to provide entrepreneurs with practical guidance, essential business information, and greater exposure to opportunities within different sectors.”
The campaign will also introduce a podcast series featuring the experiences and insights of local entrepreneurs and small‑business owners.
Speaking at the launch, SME Digital CEO Badhurudheen Hassan said SME360 reflects the company’s vision of becoming a trusted one‑stop platform for SME support and financing.

“SME360 reflects our vision of building a trusted one-stop platform that delivers comprehensive support and financing solutions for SMEs across the Maldives,” he said.
He added that launching the campaign in Addu City, a major business hub, was significant, noting that SME Digital has already provided over MVR 144 million in financing to 134 small businesses in the region.
“To date, SME Digital has extended over MVR 144 million in financing to support 134 small businesses in Addu City.”
SME Digital is currently participating in the Addu Business Dialogue forum, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade, where discussions focus on strengthening and expanding opportunities for small businesses nationwide.
