The President’s Office has announced that Sunday, May 24, and Monday, May 25, have been declared government holidays in connection with the upcoming Eid al-Adha celebrations.
According to a statement issued by the President’s Office, the decision was made to facilitate an extended holiday period, enabling civil servants to spend more time with their families and benefit from an uninterrupted holiday.
With Hajj Day scheduled to fall on May 26 and Eid al-Adha on May 27, the inclusion of the additional two holidays will create a seven-day holiday period. Government offices are expected to resume operations on Sunday, May 31, in accordance with the official calendar.
