Shaheem’s son, Mahil, receives Excellence Award from same university where he did PhD

Abdulla Mahil Ali Shaheem, the son of Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement at the same university where his father obtained his doctoral degree.

Dr. Shaheem completed his PhD at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). His son, Mahil, pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations at the same institution.

Mahil was honored with the Academic Excellence Award from his faculty and was also nominated for the prestigious IIUM Rector’s Award, which is reserved for the university’s most distinguished students.

In a social media post commemorating his son’s accomplishment, Dr. Shaheem conveyed his congratulations to Mahil, noting that the achievement is a source of pride not only for their family but also for the nation, and expressing his best wishes for his son’s future endeavors.
