Firefighters put out blaze at Hulhumale’ Water Theme Park

Firefighters from the Hulhumale’ Fire Station have put out a fire that broke out on Tuesday, at the site for the Water Theme Park.

According to the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), the fire originated from trees at the park, before spreading.

It was reported to the Hulhumale’ Fire Station at 06:34 am.

Firefighters were able to completely put out the fire at 07:39 am.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The exact cause of the fire is unclear at this point.
